A Levite Singer Walks Toward Zion at Dawn
An old white-bearded man with a staff and a small harp walks a winding road toward Jerusalem as the sun rises.
Prompt
Psalm 43: "O send out your light and your truth: let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill, and to your tabernacles. Then will I go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy: yes, on the harp will I praise you." An elderly Levite singer of the sons of Korah, a white-bearded man with a striped head-cloth and a brown travelling cloak over his tunic, carrying a small wooden harp in his arms, walks with a staff along a winding road through the hills toward Jerusalem, his weathered face lifted with hope and longing. He is large and central. Ahead of him, the morning sun breaks over the distant walled hill of Zion, sending long golden rays down the road. Clear sky, fresh dawn colours. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
