Asaph Clashes Cymbals as Levites Blow Horns
A Levite raises bronze cymbals at sunset while two Levites blow ram's horns on steps overlooking Jerusalem.
Prompt
Psalm 75 (a Psalm or Song of Asaph): "To you, O God, do we give thanks, to you do we give thanks: for that your name is near your wondrous works declare... All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted." Asaph, the chief Levite musician, stands large and central on the stone steps before the LORD's tent on Mount Zion at sunset, clashing his bronze cymbals high above his head in thanksgiving, his face full of joy; beside him two Levites lift long curved ram's horns toward the sky. The western sky blazes gold and crimson behind them, and the hills of Jerusalem lie in warm evening light. The two Levites with the horns wear wrapped turbans or head-cloths over their hair. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
