Jotham Calls Out from Mount Gerizim
Jotham stands on a rocky height with a hand at his mouth, pointing toward the city below. An olive tree, a fig branch, a vine and a bramble grow beside him.
Prompt
Judges 9: Jotham, the youngest son of Gideon, stands on the top of mount Gerizim and lifts up his voice to the men of Shechem with the parable of the trees that went forth to anoint a king over them. Jotham is large and central on a rocky summit, wearing a wrapped striped head-cloth and a heavy brown-and-ochre striped cloak, cupping one hand to his mouth as he shouts and pointing with the other toward the city of Shechem far below; beside him an olive tree, a fig tree, a vine and a thorny bramble bush grow among the rocks. Bright morning sky and wide valley behind. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
