Prompt

Zechariah 11: "So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD." In a sunlit stone court of the temple, the prophet Zechariah, dressed as a shepherd in a simple wrapped head cloth and brown mantle, a broken shepherd's staff lying at his feet, stands large and central, his face full of sorrowful indignation as he flings a scatter of small silver pieces from his hand onto the paving before a startled potter sitting at his clay wheel among clay jars; behind, two smug merchants with a bronze hand-balance look on. Bright, clear morning light, warm terracotta and silver gleam. The men wear wrapped turbans or head-cloths over their hair. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
