Isaiah Is Touched With a Live Coal
Isaiah kneels in a smoke-filled temple as a six-winged seraph touches his lips with a glowing coal held in tongs. A throne of white light is above.
Prompt
Isaiah 6: I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple... Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: and he laid it upon my mouth. Inside the temple filled with smoke, the prophet Isaiah kneels large and central, trembling, as a radiant seraph with six wings (two covering its face, two covering its feet, two spread in flight) touches his lips with a glowing live coal held in golden tongs. Above and behind, a high throne of blinding white and golden light and glory fills the temple, with no human figure on it, only light. Brilliant gold and white light, awe and holy fear. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
