Isaiah Greets the Dawn Over Galilee
A prophet stands on a hilltop above a lake as the sun rises, a broken yoke at his feet. A few villagers look up at the light.
Prompt
Isaiah 9: The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined... For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden. The prophet Isaiah stands large and central on a hilltop above the Sea of Galilee, his face lifted and lit gold as a great radiant dawn breaks over the dark hills of Zebulun and Naphtali. At his feet lies a broken wooden yoke. Below, a few villagers step out of their houses into the light, shading their eyes. Brilliant sunrise light spreading over deep blue shadows, overwhelming hope. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
