Joash Crowned King as Athaliah Cries Treason
A boy in a gold crown holds a scroll with an old priest's hand on his shoulder. Guards and trumpeters stand behind and a woman in red robes cries out at the right.
Prompt
2 Chronicles 23: In the seventh year Jehoiada the priest brings out the king's son, Joash, a boy of seven, in the house of the LORD; they put the crown upon him, give him the testimony and anoint him, and all cry, "God save the king!", while Athaliah rushes in, tears her clothes and cries, "Treason, Treason!" The small boy-king Joash, about seven years old, stands large and central by the pillar at the temple entrance wearing a small gold crown and a white and purple robe, his face solemn and brave; the old high priest Jehoiada, white-bearded in priestly robes and turban, stands behind him with a horn of oil and a protective hand on his shoulder; Levite guards with spears and shields surround them, trumpeters raise trumpets. At the edge of the frame Queen Athaliah, in rich dark robes, tears her garment and screams in fury. Bright, triumphant morning sunlight in the temple court. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
