Belshazzar Sees the Writing on the Wall
A king in blue and gold recoils as a goblet falls from his hand and spills wine. Glowing script and a hand appear on the wall beside him while guests shrink back.
Prompt
Daniel 5: The hand writing on the wall at Belshazzar's feast. King Belshazzar, large and central, has leapt up from his banquet couch in terror, his knees buckling, a golden goblet from the temple of Jerusalem falling from his hand and spilling wine, as he stares at the plaster wall of the palace hall beside a tall bronze lamp stand, where the glowing fingers of a man's hand, with no arm or body, are writing one line of four words in genuine ancient Aramaic script, square Aramaic letters written right to left, not Latin letters. This writing is the only lettering in the image. Lords and ladies at the feast behind him shrink back in fear. Golden lamplight and rich colours, a mood of dread. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
