Prompt

Philippians 4: "I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord... Rejoice in the Lord alway." In the riverside house church at Philippi, the believers gather around as Paul's letter is read aloud from a papyrus scroll by Epaphroditus. In the centre, Euodias and Syntyche, two respected older women who laboured with Paul in the gospel, stand side by side facing the group, clasping each other's right hands firmly in a formal handshake of agreement, like fellow workers sealing a promise; their faces are calm, sincere and joyful, looking toward the reader, not at each other; there is a little space between them. Around them, other believers — a few men in head-cloths, Lydia in purple, an elder — smile and nod with approval. Warm golden evening light through the doorway, the river beyond; a joyful, wholesome, community mood. Not romantic in any way. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
