Elisha Prophesies Water to the Kings of Judah and Israel
Elisha raises a hand toward heaven while a minstrel plays a lyre and two crowned kings stand listening. A dry valley with a thin stream of water lies behind them.
Prompt
2 Kings 3: In the dry wilderness of Edom, the prophet Elisha prophesies to the kings while a minstrel plays. Elisha, large and central, stands with one hand raised and eyes alight as the hand of the LORD comes upon him, declaring that the dry valley will be filled with water. Beside him a young minstrel sits playing a wooden lyre. Before them King Jehoshaphat of Judah and King Jehoram of Israel, in dusty royal robes and armour, listen intently. Behind them a parched desert valley dug full of ditches, with the first gleam of water flowing in under a bright clear morning sky. Style: a blend of photo-realism and cinema, like a still from a big-budget film. Bright, rich, saturated, luminous colour, clear daylight or glowing golden light even in dramatic scenes, never murky or muddy, crisp detail, real human faces full of emotion, shallow depth of field, subtle film grain. Simple, uncluttered composition: ONE clear scene from this chapter, with the chapter's main character or characters large, close and central in the upper and middle frame, and a simple background. No montage, no collage, no inset vignettes, no crowd of small figures competing for attention. Historically accurate ancient Near Eastern clothing, architecture and landscape. Keep the bottom quarter of the frame simple and uncluttered (ground, water or sky) so a large chapter number can be set over it. Absolutely no text, no letters, no words, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no border, no frame.
